Looks good.. It looks ALOT like my 90 LX I just bought... I will have to post some pics of all my stangs and my 90 as I am tearing into it. My 90 should be reduced to a shell within a week or so... I worked on it for about an hour last week, motor and trans is unbolted ready to be pulled. Then its off to paint as soon as I get the door pins replaced.

I have the same lower intake on my 86GT. Major clearance issues if you use the billet rails Had to clearance front driver's rail. Would hit distributor!!Even with the purchase of fuel rails with 45 degree ends up front!!! Stay with stock rails ,unless your motor ask for more fuel. Had bought the tall motor sport black w/red valve covers, wouldn't clear linkage on bottom of throttle boby, even with 1" spacer! Endded up using same as you. Good Luck!! Mine's a 347 from FORD PERFORMANCE SOLUTIONS!

ORIGINAL: 88BlueGT

Spudz.... what kind of setup are you going to do in the LX?

The 90lx will be close to this... Rear will have 4:10s, welded torque boxes, frame connectors, control arms and all new springs... Weld draglites skinny in front wide in rear. No sway arm. Car will be corvette yellow with cobra R hood cause I got it for free lol. AS for motor, And since I am in college an poor this is what it is starting with... I will be puttin a good condition EFI 302 in it outa a newer stang, equal length headers, OR Hpipe. Pretty stock with about a 100shot... And hopefully that setup wont blow up till I get outa school. If I don't sell it by then I want to drop a carbed 351 in it and swap the T5 for a stonger trans... Then I will prolly find a good cheap body and stick the motor/trans and harness from the 90LX and start all over again lol. BUT as always my plans are always changing... I will prolly have a diff plan in a week or so lol.
