im as much as a fan of ford.. as anyone here.. but i love cars.. wether it has a bow tie on it or a ram...its still a car and can go fast...
and if you were going to go big cubes why bore and stroke a 460 just go right to the 514.. bore and stroke that.. that would be a nice stight line performer..

Im not hating on it but I would just never do it. Ford cars should have Ford motors. And I feel the same way about any other cars. Except when you see crazy sh*t like a Miata w/ a 5.0 in it (I seen that somewhere the other day). But im not driving the car so do as you please.

Yea, that really makes no sense... taking a GN V6 instead of a 5.0 V8 thats already in the car. If you really want a GN motor, buy a GN. And the GN is not waaaaay faster. I gaurantee a 5.0 and a GN would be a pretty close race. I'm not familiar with the GN too much but I've been in one and they are not that fast. Please just take your 5.0, throw a blower w/ 4:10's and you will be happy.
That much is obivious, GN motors can handle a ton of boost in stock form, way way more than a stock 5.0. Yes the initial cost is bit steep but they are good motors and if that what he wants in his car who are any of you people to judge, most of you don't have a clue what a fast is anyways (QUIK you are the exception)

Good for you, I was not talking to you anyways... I too like when people get creative to make thier cars fast and going with a turbo 6 is a good start if thats what he wants

Alright thanks guys who didnt flame or anything. I'm just getting ideas at the moment. I know it can handle a hell of alot mor boost than a 5.0 motor, and it is the first car im actually going to make fast. But thanks for the input. What would some of you suggest for a cheaper, possibly even faster car (that i wont have TOO many problems with)?

Go for it, it'll be unqiue! and BTW I've driven a 900hp & 1200 ft. lbs of tq., 2 door f250 before, I wouldn't say that it was exactly "slow".
