Hardly.....maybe with a LS based motor but not a sbf...the best way to go is figure out your ENTIRE setup and have a cam ground to your needs....maybe get in contact with ed curtis or another custom grind company...

I hope thats not the duration numbers @.050 your showing in your post. If it is you'd better be running a forged bottom end, and some heads that flow some serious numbers, cuz that things gonna have a redline of around 7400 RPM give or take a few. As far as being Streetable I would have to say no. It would have a rough idle, produce poor low end torque, and cause the engine to be quite sluggish during normal driving. It would probably have low vacuum issues that would cause problems with your power brakes, and be a PIA to tune just to name a few things. Unless you plan on Bracket Racing this car and will only be occassionally driving it short distances, like to a local cruise night, then I'd think about a smaller cam. Overcamming an engine is a common mistake and will lead to nothing but disappointing performance. Like has been said, you have to take your entire set up into consideration as well as its intended use. Making lots Horsepower is easy, but doing it while maintaining Streetability requires a fine balance. It always comes with some level of compromise. My advice would be to contact a couple of cam companies and maybe a reputable engine builder in your area for some suggestions and advice then make your decision from thier.

my motor built by FORD PERFORMANCE SOLUTIONS is a 347. The cam I have is the stage 3 Tric Flow cam(298/310dur.and .574/.595lift) that's about as much as you should go. That's what Troy(owner of shop) recomended. Plus my motor has 1.7s. cann't wait to fire it up!!!!!!!!

Ok that would be helpful. I have a 95 5.0 5-speed. stock 3.08 gears O/R H-pipe vortex flows smog pump skiped, CAI, and thats about it. But I plan on getting a 347 stroker and later on some gt-40 or Dart heads also either gt-40 intake or some other aftermarket intake, and a few other things, TB, MAF, ect. Let me know what you think. Also it will be a DD but I want it to be fast. thanks

Thaat cam you mentioned is way too big even for a good bracket car. Cams like that tend to be 'peaky' even if you have the converter/gearing to use them.
By 'peaky' I mean that the torque curve is too sharp. You want something that is flat in torque (but still high) at something like 5000-6500, wuth very little(if any) changing. Makes for very consistent car if it's all motor.
OOP'S gave away another secret........
