Fuel Pump

I've noticed my fuel pump is very loud and often when i shut my car off it smells faintly like gas. What do you think could be wrong?</P>

Fuel Pump

leaky seal? If it was mine I'd take the fuel pump out and make sure everything was looking good, or just replace it.
