hi,
I am puting a mildly built 351W into my 86 mustang. I was just woundering will i have any trouble registering it and getting it to pass emissions. I live in Massachusetts and the car is a six banger.

It will not pass visual....if the car came with a 6ixer it must stay in there to pass visual..But if you know the inspector im sure it could be over looked but that's up to you.

thats funny there seems to be alot of V8 swap cars. anyways probly nothing a 50 couldent handle

Well im a licensed inspector..so i should know just about everything that will pass and not pass..Do you guys have the tail pipe emissions still,I thought they was doing away with it in 06.

yea we still have tail pipe emissions, i belive 82 and older in Ma does not have to pass emissions. so even if i do go through with it and put the 351 in when i atempt to register it will it come up as a six cylinder and will i be screwed. thank you
