Ok, I just got my 90 GT and I'm feelin the need to help it out. I'm thinkin I definatley need some lift bars as they did wonders for the Nova...here's my grand scheme. Just remember, I'm new to the Mustang thing. I'm lookin for better traction/stability/handling and some grunt from the gears. If I need to look at different brands or methods, please lemme know. Advice on where to buy would be good too...I'm pretty much workin w/ the Jegs catalog.

you dont need lift bars or slapper bars. this is a coil spring 4 link style rear suspension. the nova should be leaf spring
for a DD/street use car get some non adjustable U/L control arms, 70/30 struts-50/50 shocks
for a strip car you could use solid non adjustable U/L control arms or get adjustable ones. 90/10 struts-50/50 shocks, adjustable pinion snubber, slightly stiffer rear springs, 4 banger fronts or a coilover front suspension.
the list could go on but you dont need those bandaid techniques on a 4 link

So control arms.. Are the Steeda units pretty good? I was lookin @ the aluminum uppers and lowers.
About the 3.73s...Looking at my future plans for the car, I don't see them being a substancial problem and if I wanted to swap them, I'd only be out $160. I can live with that if the gear swap will be to my benefit now. I can't imagine driveability would suffer too much w/ just 3.73s, but if there are any issues I need to consider, let me know.
One more question. What are the "best" street tires I can put on the stock wheels? I have a pretty much new set of the oem tires, but when they go, I'd like to get something with more bite...definately open to suggestions.
For the spring/damper aspect of the suspension, I was thinking BBK springs + Koni Reds..I've heard nothing but good about that setup. I'm also entertaining the idea of the Steeda 4130 subframe connector. Keep in mind I'm new to the Mustang thing and I'm reading about products and trying to interpret what I think will accomplish my goals...but if I need set straight, feel free.
Thanks.

without a doubt ... first mod should be a nice suspention firming package, take a look at Maximum motorsports they offer some of the best suspention packages. There is a package that offers sub-frame connectors, sway bars, tubular k member and a strut tower brace. Foxes suffer from extensive chassis bend and body roll.
