Don't listen to Quik (don't take that as a personal shot Quik)..the Loudmouth sound jsut isn't for some people..but if you like it..SLP has just made a catback for the fox body stangs...

www.slponline.com

then look at the left hand column and there is an 86-93? year mustang click on it then click on the exhaust part and they have the Loudmouth catback..along with some sound clips..sounds amazing

SLP stuff sounds like the exhaust is under water and a mild sounding harley.

These pipes look so cheesy

looks like a local parts store made them.

no offense taken but ive heard them on LT1s, LS1s and both sounded like a5S. they sounded like if the car didnthave a muffler on it. since a loudmouth isnt nothing more then a open tube with what looks to be cheese grater inside the walls of it. this exhaust will also hurt some performance. since there isnt any restriction and is striaght thru. its raspy and loss of lowend should be expected

I agree LS1mustang..i don't like the way the pipes look on the car..but that can always be customized or w/e to make it look good..and Quik..my buddy has a 2001 WS6 Trans Am with a new race motor, .625 lift cam, and everything you can imagine (N/A)..his exhaust? Longtubes, catted Y, and SLP loudmouth..it might be too loud for you..but to me and my friends it sounds AMAZING..my other friend has a 95 5.0 with O/R h pipe and SLP loudmouth catback..sounds great..but to enjoy the SLP sound, you have to like your car being really, really loud...I do, as do my friends, others, like you, don't..and hey, to each his own...

Quik, I don't know how much low end torque you are gonna lose from just a catback it can't be that noticeable from just a catback..mid pipe, of course..but i don't know..maybe i'm wrong..anywas good luck to the original poster, hope i was able to help with that website..

and I hope everyone had a very Happy, Safe, and Merry Christmas..

Well, if you have a stock mid pipe, the loudmouth 1's should be fine..if you haven't already, listen to the soundclips they have posted at the site..if you have an o/r H pipe, then go for the LM II's..will sound amazing..say no to magnapacks..they sound too tinny for my tastes (but that is my tatse) and borla stingers are only for 99+ stangs unless you just buy the mufflers and weld them in
