i'm looking for something that will get me good traction but not necessarily something only good for the track, i wanna have good handling as well. i don't got to the track often so i think DRs wouldn't be that great for me. one of my buddies have yoko es100 (just a tad cheaper than the es sport) and he usually get's a 1.9X 60' and they handle the curves really well, that would be more than satisfying for me.

ORIGINAL: vfast

is that 5k worth of 1/4 miles?

I have a tremec in my car...I'd like to go automatic so the car will be consistant

no only a couple passes on the tranny at the local strip. it was all street action.

what tremec is it? what condition? and etc
or you still got a good T5?

lol, that was good, but im with vfast if your at the track a lot you want any auto, i dont care how good of a driver you are but you will never be as consistant as an auto. me i dont go to the track so i want another gear for on the high way.

i guess 13.38,13.4,13.48,13.5 isnt that consistant

then why say you cant be that consistant? as long as you do the same thing each round there shouldnt be any differences

where autos are better is cutting lights but hell thats just for the bracket racer
