I've got an F303 and it idles great at about 800-850
speaking of that, it's sunny out I might have to go for a drive!

I have an ELGIAN race cam and it idles choppy and at about 500-550 rpm but i dont think thats what you want. This thing is LOPEY!It really shakes the s**t out of the car and with solid mounts you feel it in your teeth!

But to answer your question the best cam is not the same for everyone it depends on your plans and mods to the engine. If this is a dalily driven car you obviously (UNLESS YOU ARE ME) wouldnt want a choppy idle that lopes real hard. The best cam is the one thats designed to take advantage of your mods to the fullest.

What are your plans for this?Give us more info.To be honest im not personally a big fan of the factory camshafts.Theyre good and all its just that they dont really offer a really radical setup like the aftermarket does. But that again comes down to your personal needs.
