I just bought a perfect condition 1992 Mustang lx 5.0.. So far the mods are 65mm throttle body, C&L mass air and intake kit, 3:73 gears, longtube headers, off-road h-pipe and cat back exuast and tremmec tranny.I have a few questions.. can i have et/hp/tq predictions for this car. It has no traction in 1rst or 2nd gear i love it. Also the intake is a steel pipe that says C&L then the mass air sensor and a K&N cone filter in an ugly black box.. what intake it this.. Also the tempature needle is always on the line after 130.. this seems a little cool to me.. is it ok? I love this car.. its 3 times as fast as the 70 cutlass i have.. Thanks for all your help!!

My car dosen't have the cat forward exhast the gears and the tremmec I ran 14.3 hp I don't know. the tration thing is going to be your problem at the track, if you spin your not going anywhere. It is more difficlt than it seems to drag race if you get the car to spin a few times and hook you could get good times. But don't be suprised if you get a few mid 15sec runs. I would concentrate on mods to help you hook better, Fat stiky tires I like nitto drag radials or slicks sub fram connecters, rear control arms. I have hered of 13sec ET from cars with less engine mods With a suspesion set up that alows High RPM lunches and and dosen't spin much. Good luck at the track and don't get discuraged with high ET it takes time to get used to the way your car luanches.

check out www.maximummotorsports.com for suspension goodies. they got everything. they make a great strut-tower brace that doesnt get in the way of aftermarket intakes .
