Default CAMS

Hi i have a daily driver but i want that very noticible muscle car rough idle. I am looking to buy a cam kit right now, and what exactly gives the rough idle is it lobe seperation? duration? valve lift? any or none of these?

Overlap is what makes for a lumpy idle.

I see what your saying but his setup could handle a decent size cam. What do you consider aggressive?
