RE: IAC QUESTION!!!!!!!!
Have you checked the salt and pepper connectors? I've read on this site in several posts that they can have a bad connection and cause exactly the problem you're describing. Search this forum for "Salt" and "Pepper" and you'll see the posts I'm referring too. A bad connection appears to make the IAC continuously hunt for the right spot.

RE: IAC QUESTION!!!!!!!!
I had the same problem, I checked my timing (was at 6 btc now at 12 btc), cleaned the iac, and also checked the tps. Mine was at .65 volts, I got it to .98 - .99 Volts. I don't have the idle problem now. Check thoughs.

For the TPS, use a DC Voltage meter. You may want to read the articles here; http://www.muscularmustangs.com/maintain.php
A vacuum leak could be the source of your problems, especially if it were variable. You might also try resetting your computer by disconnecting the battery for around 30 minutes and see if that changes anything.
