Are you supposed to do this before or after you change your oil or anything like that or can I just use it because I have 4,000 miles till my next change.

I don't think you really need to clean the top end that frequently. I don't think it will hurt anything, but they are trying to sell SeaFoam. If you really want to see your car smoke put a little Kerosene into the engine (Note: I'm not sure how that might affect O2 sensors). Used to do this on carbeurated engines to decarbonize them. Also a good way to find an exhaust leak. In my experience with SeaFoam, it's always given a white smoke out the exhaust if poured or sucked into the intake in sufficient quantity.

when you add it to your oil you need to do it right before you change the oil bc it will thin out your oil

I just wanted to add to all of the comments and say that it worked GREAT! I used it on my Intrepid. I poured it straight into my PCV valve shut it off for 10 minutes and started.... WOW THERE WAS ALLLLOT OF SMOKE! It stayed smoking pretty heavy for about 20 minutes. But I can honestly say that my revs are smoother and when my car is dereving it ALOT smoother also. I dont know if its all in my head but I feel like the engine pulls a little stronger. Thanks for everyone recommending it. Im using it on my dads Saab and my moms Jimmy this weekend! Thanks everyone!
