YNotch?

Hi All, Just checking in, I picked up a 92 LX 5.0 Notch Automatic a couple months ago, and just now have had time to work on it. It is a Rust Free Florida Car, Full Power, all stock, 109K miles. It needs a Trans, WIndshield, Front Bumper (cracked) and tires. I paid $950.00 for it, bought a 5000 mile tranny with a shift kit off e-bay for $350.00 shipped, and a front bumper for 85.00. Yesterday I started to install the trans, and will finish it tomorrow. Then I will be able to put some miles on it and see what I have. However the new flowmasters and dumps won't be here until Tuesday, so It will be a little loud just running the factry H Pipe.

Once I get it so it is driveable and safe, what is the proper order for aftermarket upgrades for performance? Pullys, intake, chip,..? etc,..

I will try to post some pics tomorrow, but i feel pretty good having under $1500.00 in my new hot rod!

Thanks for the welcome, I did see the sticky about the mods, but there were a couple of things that I wasn't shure of, I will relook into it.

Here are a couple of pics, the tranny is in and it runs great!, Good firm shifts, the motor is strong. I was a little worried cause I didn't even get the chance to drive the car. I should have the exhaust by Wednessday then I will put some miles on it, weather permitting.

The new tires should be on by the end of the week, first I want to burn off the old ones..[:@]

Thanks, The covers will be off soon, they are junk anyway, and I agree on the graphics, probablly something that I wouldn't do but they will have to stay for now. They are custom painted with Chrome Illusion so they change color. It looks OK, the prevous owner said that he got a lot of compliments on them. Guess I will find out if that is true.
