Default Ram Air hood

im currently looking at getting a new hood for the Stang and i was curious since i have a CAI, would i still be able to use the cervinis ram air kit, also for you guys that have this, do you really think that it adds thottle response and what about quater mile times, thanks for help

It wont be real functional with a cold air intake, If you want a true Ram Air hood you will need to buy the kit. Cool thing about the cervinis Ram air hood is you dont have to get a fenderwell CAI, because you can still draw cold air from the hood scoops.

i kno i gotta buy the kit, i also have a fenderwall cai, so i can take the elbow off the cai and install the ram air kit

Yeah that should work great, I wanted to get the kit, but its too expenive just for some fiberglass.

Yeah thats why my car sticks out so much around here, I guess no one has seen a Ram air hood on a Fox around here or somthing, Everytime I go to take it for a ride I get compliments.

Yea, Even with the functional Ram air, you wont see huge gains unless at high speeds. One real huge difference I noticed with the ram air, is how much coller my engine runs now. and that also equals to little hp gains.
