93 5.0 NEEDS TO BE LOUDER..
I have a 93' 5.0 with a magna flow x pipe offroad, and flowmaster 40's. and I am going to upgrade my exhaust because I know there is room for improvement and you guys usually have quite a few good inputs, but the only thing i dont like he sound of dumps that is the only thing.. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. thanx

Yeah you prolly have the same Magnaflows I have, and Im also running an X pipe its not as loud as I wanted, so then I cut the tail pipes and just ran dumps but still didnt affect to loudness.

Well they creat alot less backpressure than any muffler thats for sure, I ran staright pipes on my 88 GTA and 92 5.0 Flarside with no problems what so ever, There were enough bends in the piped to creat some back pressure.....But every engine is different and I have no experience with Mustangs and Staights, all I know is that 3 inch straights are amazing! the have a low tone with snap plus you save the cost of any mufflers!

Don't really know if they have more than 1 version, when I bought my 88 GT it was not running so, I did not know how loud it was, when I got the engine going, it was like REALLY LOUD. The guy at the muffler shop told me they were spinteck mufflers.
