Default horsepower and tire/traction

ok, first off whats the biggest tire i can fit in my fox without tubbing? Second, if i am pushing about 500hp to the wheels, is tubbing needed? If not, what tire is reccommended? also, will i be able to hook-up with-out a 4-link set-up, and just upgrading to drag launch springs/struts, control arms, battle boxes, etc ?

295 isnt bad, will that be big enough for 500rwhp motor to catch traction

size doesnt matter nearly as much as the type of tire

There are people running 8 second times on a 10" slick

no street tire will hook well for 500hp at the wheels, some will be better than others, but youll be hard pressed to actually hook

This guy I know is running high 8's on 275 mickey thompson drag radials...the car is a big block chevy...lots of money invested....but the class he wants to run in dosent allow tubing, or straight slicks....he ran at the nationals in fla.....but anyway I would suggest a 275 mickey thompson drag radials....I had some....loved em...hooked like crazy!
