RE: How much to replace a convertable top?
well some bastard tried breaking into my car by slicing the top...not realizing my alarm will go off just by stomping you feet next to the car[:@] i came flying out of the house w/ a 12 guage in hand... i guess im glad he was gone or i might be in jail! anyway... my insurance quote says $750 for the top but that's reusing my glass window. i heard that can cost up to another $500. too bad my top was new already so im not gaining anything. now a spot light (sensor) goes off if you walk within 10 yards of the car...it should help

$350 for the complete top kit from 50resto (including glass);
I'm in the same boat, except some ******* didn't cut mine, it's just old.
Around $400 to have it installed is what I have been quoted, which could be high.
So $750 was a pretty damn good quote.
