the lx and gt could come in convertable, hatchback and coupe. Both of them could have either body style even though the coupe version of the gt is rather rare. They bouth could have the 5.0 but only the lx could have the 2.3. The GT had some sport options and exterior aperrance differences.

What do you mean they have the same engine? LX had 2.3L GT had 5.0L engines.

any notch w/ the aero kit was homemade. it's possible saleen did a couple , but i think they are homemade as well.
5.0 lx is (odering and insurance wise) "lx sport"
and there is huge diff in insurance....i used to have a $500 beater and the insurance was less on my '89 notch 5.0 5-speed than this '84 lebaron 4-banger....this was in about 1998
