I hear a wierd knocking sound whenever i accelerate. It mostly only happens when i gun it. what could it be?

I hear a knocking sound when i have more than 2 ppl in my car (94 mustang gt) but only when i shift from 1st gear - 2nd and 2nd - 3rd and so on when i hit the gas it makes a knocking noise from where i think under the seats, i have no clue what it is tho, im sorry but i heard from a mechanic that it has to do with tightening some bolts under the chassis, i am sorry i cannot help you, i cant even help myself

Alright well Im no mechanic but Id be more inclined to say transmount if its only when your accelerating hard. How do I know this? My neighboor had a similar problem on his truck hahah... Youd get rod knock all the time but it would be when you nail it like you said, but also right when you let off. Im no mechanic though.

 

maybe u shouldnt gun it...lol...im kidding.
