Why do you say that? Mine have been painted for probably 10 months now, and the only chips in the paint are from when the tires were mounted.

As long as you keep them clean, and keep the brake dust from caking on, the paint will last. Especially the stuff i used, it was meant for durability.

Wheels are painted from the factory, and the paint can last 20 years, i dont see why painting them would be a waste of time.

Ok, well let me correct myself: Its not a waist of time but I much rather have someone powdercoat them for $30 bucks a wheel than to paint them myself. And you cant tell me that spraying them yourself will look as good as a powdercoat. And if you can make them look just as good, you did a damn good job!

Thank you, i did a good job

I actually only made a mistake on one wheel, and thats the only one you can tell was painted. Ive had a few people ask "did these wheels come like this?"
