my car equals bad luck
So yesterday i was getting my emissions done and the dingbat that pulled my cra in couldnt drive a stick so well so i hear himn grinding my brand new clutch. Well hes putting the thing on the dyno or whatever it is and im waiting outside the bay area and i hear him trying to get it into gear and i hear a loud POP. I looked at him and he looked back at me like i had 4 eyes and im like WTF. The moron somehow snapped my clutch cable and they said their not liable and ill have to pay to have their service shops look at it to see whose liable and what not just a mess!!!! My car has been nothing but bad luck

RE: my car equals bad luck
if they are not liable the guy who drove your car should have to pay for a new one and if he doesnt i would make sure that i have his job for doing that to your car. Thats one thing you dont do is mess up someone elses muscle car

yeah the guy that was trying to drive your car should pay to fix it, that is total bull ****, if i was you and i heard him grinding or doing something wrong i would of went up to the window and say get the f out of my car now before i beat the crap out of you. if they dont want to pay i dont know what to tell you, i wish you had a option to drive your car or let them. how hard is it to keep the pionter on the line?

I argued for about 2 hours with the manager while i was waiting for a tow. I would have to have the car towed to their "service center" pay an upfront fee of 100 bucks for the center to look at my car. Then if found liable they would refund the 100 bucks and fix the cable if not i am screwed out of 100 bucks for a 30 dollar clutch cable. I dunno im still pissed off but the EPA is a government company i think i have a better chance of winning the world series of poker than getting 30 dollars from the government

No they wont let you drive it up yourself. They have insurance which doesnt let you in their shop. Now it may not be his fault there is not much he can do to snap a clutch cable...... it is only a cable that you press down on. How can you snap a clutch cable?
