Nitrous Question....
Well I was wondering, my buddy wants to get nitrous for his 1989 Mustang LX notch 5.0 V8. I wanna kno how much a stock 302 motor can hold. How much nitrous can you put into a 302 V8? Dry shot or Wet. What do you recommend?. Thanks,

what do i recommend? none period, but thats me, someone else might be able to help you out, nitrous on a stock motor is not a good idea.

RE: Nitrous Question....
I ran 200-250hp on my 148k mile shortblock for a long time from a nozzle. It never got hurt. It's now in another car and sees 150-175 regularly. My GT saw 200-225 on a 2 stage kit from the previous owner for 9-10 years. He was spraying that much back in high school (1995). I just bought it from him in November. The stock motor finally starting losing oil pressure at 250k+ miles. It's got 263k on the chassis now. Several of my friends have run 300hp through plates on stock shortblocks but the push a lot of headgaskets. Nitrous doesn't hurt motors; detonation does. Bring the fuel and spray it down. Anything less than 150 is a tail wind.

RE: Nitrous Question....
75hp shot with stock fuel pump and 125hp shot on high volume fuel pump. on stock motor is SAFE yeah i know people who sprayed 175 on stock motor with 155lph fuel pump for well over a year. but the norm would be 125hp in my opinion.
