I use 8mm wires but with equal lentgh I had to acquire the boots at a 90*angle.

if you do headers, get a good H-pipe, and if you havnt already, a good catback, do it all in one shot, and youll enjoy the gains

I love my un-equal lengths, there is like a 1 hp difference between the equal length and the unequal lenghts. The un-equal length headers make it easier to get to spark plugs.
