Default DSS racing bad?

i was considering DSS racing but not too long ago i read that it some people had problems with it. but i found this article from 5.0 mustang saying they used a 347 kit from them

and i can't find another good company to get one from

i was looking at CHP but it comes with heads and cam but not just the kit

actually just a 331

I heard good in the mags, but I've also heard people say bad. Its a toss up on my end.
