ok if you were given 800 dollars to spend on heads what would you buy
personally i would like a set of trick flow heads.. but they are pricey..
and i am a poor college student on a budget .. but arent we all..
so would just like to see some input on why they would purchase such heads..
right now i am looking at a set of gt-40p..
or just getting a set of ported E7 ported heads from that thumper site..

Ii would buy a quality used set...afr's used can be had for 700-800

Here is a few adds from the forums at Coral:

1)Just freshened up with new intake valves and guides. One pass on the mill to true the gasket surfaces. These heads take bolt down rockers.
2.02 intake
1.60 exhaust
61cc chambers

Also included is a set of Crane 1.7 bolt down rockers and a set of Trick Flow 6.250 push rods.

2)These are new in the box heads. They have been mounted on a block once, but never fired. $895 obo

Aero-head in Indy, Indy has been advertising GT-40's for something like $700.
Also could look on E-bay too.

what are your goals with the car? what do u already have done to it? maybe ull want to consider putting that money into a full suspension kit. it would be pointless to by a cheap set of heads for now and then get a new set of better flowing heads later down the road when u have more money, when u can buy the best of suspension stuff with the money that u got and never have to replace any of it because of something better thats out there.
