i have 17x9 with 245/45/zr17 nitto nto1 tires and was told shouldnt go any bigger because they would possibly rub and they said 275 would rub without a dought so i went with the 245's but that is just what i was told.Diffrent opinions from diffrent places so goodluck with whatever you choose

lol that sux i should of asked you guys before i bought my tires ...well i aint changing now 
spent $170 on each tire so guess i am stuck with these for a while thanx for your info though PRO50SC
