Default fuel pump

i have a 89 mustang, 306 with gt40 heads, dome top pistons, eagle crank , small cam not sure of ratio, 2and half inch exhaust with h pipe. The guy i bought the car from had the motor rebuilt. When the fuel pump went out he installed one on the frame instead of replacing the one in the tank. im not sure of the size. What i want to do is drop the tank and fix it back like it is supose to be cause the external one is so loud. If i do this will the stock fuel pump be enough, or do i need a bigger one? thanks for the help.

Yup go with a 190, and actually the pumps are fairly easy to replace and not a pain in the A$$ like other cars. Good luck
