frame questions (bent doghouse) new here
Hello everyone. I'm new here, but I've been wanting to fix my Mustang so I figured this is a good place to start. Right now I have a '94 Z28 Camaro w/ some nice mods, I love it, but that's besides the point. The Mustang I own is a very nice 1991 LX 5.0. I crashed it a couple years ago, and drove it for awhile after that, but once my brother got a hold of it things changed. Anyways it's been parked about a year now, which I hate to do because it has a good motor, but does need a new tranny
Anyways, the million dollar question...
I bent the doghouse on the drivers side when I wrecked. I do not believe there is any other frame damage. The driver side fender won't go on right now, so can I cut and weld a new peice in there, or bend it out, or what are my options? Or is it a bad idea being it's a uni body and all, do I need to just buy a new body?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
BTW - if anyone is selling an 88-93 Mustang (only need body/frame, MAYBE tranny) I may be interested in buying it. Located in So. Indiana, will go fairly far to pick up.
