hello everyone . i hope everyone is doing good. well when i installed a ford racing cluth my pedal was preety stiff so i removed all that plastic gear under the dash and installed the clutch quadrent still cluth was stiff so installed new cable well guess what ? STILL STIFF. any sugestions?

how stiff is it? what clutch did you get exactly?

the Ford Racing Heavy Duty Clutches are stiff you dont want a soft clutch if you pushing alot of HP

thats what i say, your not driving a honda its going to push a lil hard

well i took my tranny out to inspect and the shaft that your throw out bearing sits on has a bad groove making hard to slide back and forth. thanks for everyones help.

that could be the problem, glad you found something so you can fix it now. most people drive something like a honda or vw or something like that and they get in a mustang with a high performance clutch and go god that cant be right. but its going to be a lil stiff.

Try pushing on my spec everyday...Then you will understand what a stiff clutch is..Since i had a motorsports clutch and it felt like a hyd. clutch compared to the spec..Its just normal when you get a performance clutch.
