Default Gauge install done....

Just got a set of Autometer gauges one temp the other oil pressure. Im curious to know where I install the oil pressure gauge to?

The temp is preety easy but im having trouble with oil.

On the drivers side of the block, right behind the timing cover there is a port.

make sure u use the hard line for oil gauge had bad experiance with plastic hose leaking all over carpet in car

yea use a brass tee where the stock oil pressure sending unit is, that way you can use the stock one to.

Right on, Where you think I can get that Hard line? You talking about steel tubing or that steel mesh tubing?

Also I got a temp gauge and im trying to figure out where to put it, I wanted to put it under the upper intake maifold but I dont feel like pulling the upper intake off today.

Will it work fine if I put it on the Radiator? Also does autometer sell a longer cable for the temp gauge?

why wouldnt you mount them in the car? get a gauge cage and put them in the center air vent

Oh they are going in the car, im talking about the connections. Like the temp sensor for the guage.

Yeah I have the old style boost and vacum gauges but since I dont have A SC yet I see no point in having them plus they look to old school.

Will the temp gauge work fine connected to radiator?

no i dont think so, that would read radiator temp not engine temp
and thats the whole point of that gauge
