I was just woundering which year is the best for a bone stock stang,speed wise. Saying that the drivers are equaly skilled and the driveing conditions are the same, between 1989 and now LX model</P><edited><editID>Ormist</editID><editDate>38014.9076273148</editDate></edited>

 

actually a stock SD car is faster then a MAF car.

to many varibles to tell. all about the same speeds and that, just depends on how they were opitoned

 

i have always seen 87 speed density 5 speeds run very well, my vote 1987

 

if cobras are included...the 98 to present. but if were talking fox bodies..i would vote for 87+88 speed density lx notchbacks.(coupe) they are so light.

 

actually a bullet is faster then a 99 and 01 cobra. dont know why but all tests show they are.

 

1986 GT hands down...Some of those suckers bone stock was hitting 14.6 when the best time put down by the 225 horsepower 1987 and up version was 14.7. Despite having 25 less horsepower they were the quickest. I can send you the link if you'd like.

ohsoquik you cant be talking about a mustang bullett dude thats some miss info the bullitt comes stock with 270horse to the cobra's 320 the only way they could be closer in horse sense if the 99 cobra didnt go to the dealership for the upgraded work such as the headers so it would be at 290-300hp <edited><editID>CobraSVT33</editID><editDate>38015.6923611111</editDate></edited>
