On my 93 gt with the mods in sig I have a idle problem A very bad one

When the motor is cold I will fire it up and it will bounce around and then get to a Steady Idle

Then after driving it around some Up to temp I come to a light and It starts Boucning around like a few hundred rpm like 500-1200rpms I cleaned the iac adjusted tps set idle checked for vacuum leaks intake leaks found None that i could notice

I bought the Iac Adjuster kit from ford with No luck

Im sporting a bbk Throttle body 70m Pro series or whatever It has no hole drilled in it for idle air to go through

Any ideas Fuel pressure stays the same whe its bouncing around I think Ill hafta get back to you on that one

 

loosin your tps with the car running and up to opt. temp and adjust your idle to like 800-900 rpm then set your tps see if that helps.

 

You might want to follow these procedures regarding maintenance and calibrations setting. Also recommended is to do a KOEO self-test and a KOER self-test too. This will help checking if the system has any codes (ECT, IAT, O2...) that could be causing the idle problem. LUK what you find out.
