Default Which Tremec????

Hey all... I want to put a Tremec TKO in my '88 GT. I currently am making about 436 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels and am thinking about a supercharger next year which would increase that torque. The question is which TKO should I buy. I would prefer the least expensive, but if I am going to be breaking it then maybe the newer TKO would truly be the cheaper buy. What think you all?

with the tko you have to get a bell housing for it, a t-5 stock bell housing wont work.

haha, that 'ill do it. I definately suggest the TKO600. It isn't much more expensive, but it can handle a good bit more power. it is rated for 600, but it can take a good bit more than that. you will need a new clutch with a 26 spline input, a new bellhousing, a 31 spline output shaft, and the tranny.

What is the stock clutch have for spline input and what is the stock output shaft. I currently have the aluminum bolt up driveshaft from Ford Peformance. If the output splines are different, can that end be purchased? Is it readily available?
