Welds for a DD

Welds for a DD
I'm looking to get welds for my DD and was wondering what would be a good size up front if my car sees 90% street and 10% track? I've been told 165's are too small for the street, yet I still want that badass look with the huge drag radials in the rear and skinnies up front. I also have FMS C springs so would I have any rubbing issues if I went with 15x5 and a 195 tire? What would you guys recommend?
Also, since my car sees more street than track what tires would you recommend for the rear? I hear DRs and street radials wear pretty quickly. I'm going with 275's but which street tires would you suggest?
Thanks...

RE: Welds for a DD
I runned a 15x5 with a 195/60/15 and my car was on sportlines..which i lower then the FMS c springs and i could never dream about rubbing with the 5" wheel..even the 8's in the rear only scrubbed when loaded down and at a extreme angle.

That wouldn't be much a problem with 5" wheel and 195's would it? What kind of rear tires are you running on the street fordguy17?

Xasthur,
im doing the same wheels as you anf from what i heard 15x3.5 up front is not street recommended. i decided with 15x5 in the frnt. as far as the rear i hear 5 1/2 offset would be fine. let me know where you plan on getting your wheels.
how do you guys think those weld rims look on a convertible?
