Just bought another mustang I NEED HELP
I just bought another mustang. An 88 5.0 with what i was told a 93 cobra motor in it. (bought it w/out seeing it in person) The car was in an accident and needs new front end. I found another 88 that i can use as parts but i have no idea how to do this. Has anyone done this or know anybody whos done it, and is it that hard to do the right way?? I will put some pics on here, tell me what you think. thanks

RE: Just bought another mustang I NEED HELP
not really hard to do, getting all the body lines perfect can be tricky if you've never done body work b4, but not rocket science.
basically shifting one section, can throw off another, but you'll get it.
worst case scenario is, you get it together and pay a body guy a couple hours to make it all str8 and spray it.
might be a good time to check out the cervini "stalker" kit?

try to get the casting numbers off the heads. (should be f3zz instead of e7te)
or just look for the 3 hash marks on the side, they show that they are gt40 heads.
the rest is no biggie really, obviously not a cobra intake, but the only other diff is really the heads and cam.
if they are..the heads alone are worth $300

It looks from the pics like you will need more than just sheet metal. The whole engine compartment looks out of square. Be sure you measure it out to make sure your subframe isnt bent or pushed back. Good luck
