Your going to have to lift the motor up. Unbolt the motor mounts and using a cherry picker lift the engine up to get it out.

to take the pan off you have to pull the motor even when lifting the engine up as far as it goes. if you have and after market k member( i believe thats what its called ) and i believe you can push it side to side but unshure if you can take it out or not. what you doing with your pan? instaling a S/C or TT?

From what I have heard you can, you just drain the oil and save it drill and thread the hole to the proper size and wash the used oil back through the engine a few times, put new oil in, and do a oil change shorlty after again. At least thats what I would do, its a hassle taking the pan off while the engine is still in the car, almost lost my hand doing it once too I was about ,2 milli seconds away! Someone was watching over me that day!

i would try and lift the engine up as far as i could, pull the pan down enough to try and clean the bottom so when you punch the hole no shavings will stay in the engine. im not shure if that will work but i guess its a shot.
