Default Bent Frame

When i first got my car about two years ago, i hit a curb really hard on the front right side of my car. No ones ever been able to align it right, it pulls and shakes just a little and i can tell by the way my tires wear it isn't completly right. Have any of yall ever done this? Anyone know how much to get it fixed?

if you plan on getting it fixed you might as well find a diff car, to get your frame straightened is going to cost you more then you would realize, they have to strip it completely down and straighten the frame. my frame isnt bent mine pulls a little to the right more then a brand new would, but the gaping between my front tires & fenders arent right, i dont believe my frames bent anyways. i just need to have my tires aligned & rotated, and i think maybe my struts, rods or my bushings may be bad, but all are replaceable.

I got run off the road, I don't know if it bent my frame, but it through my alignment out real bad. I was able to fix everything though with just adjusting the toe.

chances are the youre subframe isnt bent!!! its more like the A arm or the K memeber. its very easy to bend a K member they are stamped steel pieces that weigh alot and bend very easy. to check i would take a center to center wheel measurement. when i hit a hill side and then had my car straighten. my k member was still off. it was off 1 1/8' of and inch back on the driverside

you dont need the car completely stripped to get a frame pulled, also stangs have subframes and you could just get a new front half put in if the car was worth it.

frame labor around here is 40+ hr with 2 hr set up but most body shops could pull it for you without any problems and maybe you might have to take the front clip off and maybe not.But just like Quik said it maybe just the k-frame or the control arm. the under side of the car has factory control points that you can measure from after you do a wheel base check if you put it up on jack stands and look under the car from side to side you will see holes that are in the same place side to side measure from the hole to the k-member then do the same on the side that got hit to see if the K is back.

I have a 79 cobra and found out its frame is bent. Do I just take to salvage yard or try to part it out ? I am a chic who doesn't really enjoy grease or would know where to start. Just want it out of my driveway.

back from the dead. just put the word out or give it to a salvage yard if you don't want it.
