Worth installing?

RE: Worth installing?
I think I will do it myself. I want to learn and I'm not THAT retarded to have someone else. The only thing I hate is when I'm out of a car so if it takes to long I might get edgy and then I could mess up cause I want to finish. Maybe it will be a good lesson in patients.
Also do I need any special tools?

Ok when you do it,
When i did it I knew absolutly nothing about rear ends so I started unbolting things fist and I was just examining on how it works and I just figured it out from there. Its real simple once you figure it out. Get some lithium grease to check the wear patern so make sure the teeth arent to close or too far. The teeth should be 3/4 of the way on the ring.
Your going to need a seal installer or bearing installer I dont know what its called but its like a round piece of steel with a stick at the end that you hammer in.
Be sure to replace the pinion bearing unless you want to pull the old one out with a gear puller.

i'd definetly do it, i had 4.10s and traded them for 3.55s. depends what you're looking for really but i preffer the 3.55, 4.10 was just a bit much IMO. i never tried 3.73s so i can't say what i'd prefer compared to those.
