Default Tranny Problems

OK. As of yesterday, I seem to be having a serious problem with my 5-spd tranny. Its been really hard to shift into any gear. Even when its in neutral and I move the stick side to side, it gets pretty rough. Earlier, while I was driving, I basically had to force the shifter into the gears. Its upsetting. Can someone please tell me why they think this is happening. Id hate to have to get a whole new tranny, but if I have to, Ill just go ***** to the walls and get one of those TKO 5spds.
Thanks in advance.

How are you fluid levels? Does it do it when warm? Mine was doing that too. I replaced the fluid and fixed it some how.

I think it could be the clutch, but only part of it. For some reason, there is like an inch or two play in my clutch pedal before it starts to have pressure. But sometimes the shifter is hard to move at all. Its just making me want to go all blarharahhrahrhah on my car.

I got it fixed now. I feel so dumb because all I had to do was adjust my clutch cable. But atleast its fixed now. My clutch disengages in a different spot, like halfway to the floor. But I still floor it anways so that way I definetly won't grind any gears. I appreciate the help though. Thanks a bunch everyone.
