Does anybody know alot about cams? What exactly they do, how to find a good one, stuff like that. Thanks for any help.

 

There are a few people around that have a idea about them.

The cam moves the lifters, that inturn moves the push rod, that moves the rocker, that moves the valve open.

Going to need alot more info that you have provided.
