4.10's or 3.73's?
I cannot decide. I have a 94 GT 5 spd 5.0 and I cant decide between 4.10's or 3.73's. Anyone have suggestions from experience? People say I will be running alot higher RPM's and guzzling gas with the 4.10's, but then again they are more bang for the buck. Right now Im leaning toward 4.10's, but I might need some opinions. Also if anyone is selling either one (4.10's or 3.73's) PM me, I will buy them. Thanks guys

i have a 5spd too im going to go with the 4.10's they arent as good for high way driving cause you will be in the higher rpm's but i dont really cause im not going to be doing much long distance highway driving anyway

3.73's for the street! I have 3.55's in my GT and they are perfect, I have 3.91's in my Dodge Challenger (non-overdrive) and they are a nightmare on the highway almost 4K @ 60 mph. The overdrive will make it more tolerable but the increased rpm's will not only kill economy (then again if we wanted economy we would be driving a tuner) but it will increase wear and tear on the drivetrain. I know of 2 street mustangs around here with 4.10's, 1 never leaves the driveway the other is getting a set of 3.55's.

I got 3.55 cause the gas is a little better and the speedo gear is correct for the size, if you get 3.73 you will be off by about 10 miles or so. I didnt go with 4.11 cause i drive on the freeway a lot and it would kill me.
