You can get 300 to the wheels w/o a power adder, but it depends whether you'll be happy there. It sounds like you should reasearch your options a little more.... Of course, if you do the H/C/I and then a blower, you could easily be over 400 to the wheels. don't forget the chassis stiffening you'll need to do to make it handle better w/ the power.

99 Cobra motor--anything (4.6) after 95 on mustangs is a mod motor. Ford went to the 4.6 and canned the 5.0.

Concur with Blue here. If want 300-400HP just do a 351 swap.
Go buy a built 351 someplace and put it in car. That simple.........
