94 Cobra....
Well after the recent intuition of trying to trade out of my 95 Trans Am I found a 94 Cobra 5-speed, convertable, leather and fully loaded at a local dealer. I was wondering a couple questions. Would any of you have any problems buying a Cobra with 90xxx miles on it, what should I look for problem wise? The dealer is asking 8995 for it what should I offer? How would she stack up to my 95 Trans Am auto with 3.23
Thanks

Well 9 grand is a little high but then again it is a dealer. Sell your trans am privately dont trade it in. Then go in with 7grand in cash in your hand and talk to the guy make yourself seem really really interested and say this is what I got, show him 6500 and that gives you 500 to play with since you know he's going to say no for that. Good luck and dont pay 9k

Nine does seem a little high for a 1994 with 90,xxx miles. In my own personal opinion, if your gonna get a car that you want to put power into and race, don't go with a vert anyway. Their heavier and usually the chassis is weaker. If your just getting a car for cruising verts is the way to go.

I agree, dont rush into anything but I dont know how it is around you but in NJ; Its pretty damn hard to find a 94-95 Cobra w/ low mileage AND original owner. But good luck though, and make sure you look around first.

Yeah take your time when looking. I took me 6 months to find my 95GT vert 5spd w/ 66,102 original miles on it. I too wanted a cobra but I couldnt pass up on the Gt that I found. The few things the car I was looking for had to have was, V8, 5spd, Vert and low miles (picky huh!). But I found it. Just take your time. There is a car out there for you.

+1 Rushing into buying a car is prob the worst mistake that you can make... trust me; I DID IT! I didnt even look at the car in the light lol. It was 9:00 at night and he started it up and reved it to about 4K and I told him that I wanted it and I would be back tomorrow w/ the cash. And than it fell apart.... piece by piece by piece
