Default Lower Springs and Doughnuts

Does anyone know if you have to replace the doughnuts under the springs if your changing the springs, is it possible to just put the springs on without the doughnuts? Just wondering.

you should replace the isolator if they are looking out of date. when i had my springs installed the guys that did it didn't get new ones and now the isolators are completely destroyed. just save yourself the hassle and replace it now.

What if I avoided the isolators all together? Would that be bad?

If you mean, like not even use isolators at all I'm not even sure you'll be able to do it. If you do I sure hope you don't like your springs, perches, or your car for that matter because that will probably cause some serious damage.

Your car would probably ride like complete crap. It would be extremely harsh and bumpy b/c you'd have nothing between the frame and the spring itself. metal to metal.

No, that's generally do to crappy weak springs or cut springs and worn out shocks.

Soooooo, I just made an order for the isolators. Thanks for the feedback, it scared the hell out of me. I got a set of black poly ones from Energy Suspension.
