Default FINALLY! Done painting/polishing my intakes!

Hey all, for all of you keeping track I finally have the damn thing done, I had to totally repaint the upper do to some not reading direction malfunctions! Always read the directions, but she is all done and looking pretty sexy!

Time for the valve covers, and accesories!

Oh god yes, I spent alot of time polishing that aluminium to get that brushed effect, its retarded, you cant really tell from the pics but when you look at it in person all the shiney parts have a brushed effect. Now I need to get my altenator & Power steering pump done, everything else is already done, plus I have to shoot my bay with some clear coat as well..........I should have my block back within like 3 weeks or so then I can start getting it all back together see what the finish products are like!

Damn, your so lucky! I wish I was working on my car. Im just pretty much saving my money and spending $450 every two weeks on parts so when spring comes around I will have alot to do. Man I cant wait till it gets nice! (here in Jersey anyway )

Yeah I know the feeling I am from Canada we still have another good month to go before I can even make it down my driveway....So that sucks ***! I have been pissing around I wasn't sure if I wanted to get this block all balanced and stay at like 400 or so or spend the money on a Dart and make a monster, but I will start mild and go hardcore later.... I am young yet!

The "King of the Street" now is now my friend who has a 69 Chevelle w/ a 540 in it. Its beast but I THINK I can take him. I seen him run it at the track one time... OMG! Came off of the line from idle, ripped sideways off of the line, spun them almost through the 1/8th and ran mid-high 11's.
