Default D&D K-Member

Hey everyone,

I ordered a D&D K-Member about a 3-4 weeks ago but one huge thing that I forgot to mention was that I was going to be running a 351W with it. Does it make a difference? Also, anyone who has had any personal experience with them I would like to hear from you. Thanks alot.

Dan B.

No experience, but what I do know is that they are a little heavier....not by much though therefore that should write out that problem, as well the motor mounts are the same on the K member for 351's and 5.0's All ford vehicles in general are they are slotted you can run whatever engine you want.....We put 390's in a 302 frame, 351 in for a 360, 351 C swap to a 460, all in trucks and one in a old LTD....... everything bolted right up! We used to play alot as kids I still have that 351 C block at the farm I should go and get to play with!

There shouldn't be a problem since the only difference between a 302 and 351 is the deck height and width. That's why the timing chain, cams, etc are the same dimensions. The motor mount bosses are the same width and placement.

Stock 351W fully dressed is only about 60# more than 302.
I don't see any problems coming......
