Default b303 ?

How would a b303 cam and gt40 heads perform together ? What kindof idle ?
I'm in the process of buyin dif. heads for my car and a cam. i found this on ebay with both and extras.

i never here anyone saying anything good about that cam they always say its crap, i would go with the e 303 cam way more recomended

Not very good...the TFS 1 is a much better of the shelf cam for the 40's or p's..not to mention the cam is a hard cam to tune with a EFI setup..Also the e or f cam is about the only FRPP cams that are worth anything..

^^^ to each their own. i have a b cam and i like it, and i'ver known other ppl that had
b cams and had damn good running cars, as far as what will it sound like,
i've had nothing but compliments on how my car sounds w/ my set up

from everything I've heard a B303 will make more power than an E303 b/c of longer duration, with stock GT40 heads a guy ran 12.9 with an E303 cam and 3.73 gears so it cant work that bad...

Buddy of mine ran a B303 with GT40 heads on his '88 with a 100 shot nitrous. He ran 11's consistently with that setup and 3.55 gears.

yes, and probably a decent size difference... B will be much more "streetable"

Well im not sure if smog is an issue where you live and im not sure if the B cam is smog legal but i AM sure the E cam is and i use the E cam with 1.7rr with afr165's and i love it, it has a very clean idle to it, very streetable in my opinion considering i drive it about 50 miles everyday no problems on my end.
