you dont wnat to run platnium plugs in a supercharged car...also regapp ur plugs to 32 this way you dont blow them out, i think stock ur in the 40's to 50's depending on the year.....
stock gap in a 94-95 5.0 is .054

i always gap small. im running .048 right now. but when i get my s/c installed im going .035...

and yea... platinum plugs are teh suck!!!

Mustang95 Just curious if you have ran your car with the 6lb. supercharger... I am planning on 8-10lb's on my motor, but was wondering how much it helped your ET..

How much mileage? I have a 14lb procharger on a stock block w/ 150k for almost 3 years now w/ no probelms. These motors are tougher than you think.
my car has 146k with all stock internals. Plus my car has the ****ty pistons, not forged like yours. I just have a feeling the pistons aren't in that great of condition.

the guy in temecula said he would give a smog legal 6lb powerdyne installed for 2100. My car has 146k with all stock internals, how long do you guys think it would last? I was also wondering if you can get a front mount intercooler for that.

From what I've read while searching for intercoolers online, they are not necessary for only 6 lbs of boost... no real gains from it, especially for the price.

That supercharger at only 6 pounds is still turning at tens of thousands of rpms, that's a lot of excess heat so I wouldn't say an intercooler is unnecessary. You will want to get larger injectors and a colder plug also.
