^^if it's a small amount it won't hurt..it will clean the carbon off the pistons/valves.

If it were me I'de just suck out what i could with a shop vac if at all possible then i'de fire it up throw it in gear and walk on it.. take it on the highway for a bit then i'de change the oil and do it again.

what the hell you talking about. thats an old school trick that still works. they mist water into the carb or TB to help steam clean the pistons/valves.

so the little amount that is in the CC wont hurt. it will smoke some but will be fine after a few minutes. now if hte head gasket was shot then it could wipe out bearings but just a little bit will be fine. and afecting the cats...since when do stangs have cats? also if they did have cats then a little bit of steam will also help clean them

they've had cats since the 80s... like every other car. And steam isnt what clogs the converters up, its when it "cleans" the pistons and valves... where do you think that carbon goes? through the exhaust. I agree with you, it is an old trick that works well on cars from the 60's and 70's.

Anyway, I seem out numbered here so I say start it and hope for the best

unless you are my dad,and take 15 yrs to put a h-pipe on it..he bought his new,and still has it..

ha, I'm trying to decide now weither or not to get a catted h-pipe, I dont think I'll wait 15 years though

lol he has only replaced two alt/1water pump/and the mid-pipe...and glasspacks.
that's it.. over 200k,and still runs strong..he also ran into 5ft of water too.
